News Headline October 05

October 05, 2014 Major  Crash!
Delay in publishing Ask SD-22 & R&R-9
Ask SD Tracy Harper-22 and Reasons & Realities 9 are post pone until mid-October due to several hard drives crashing, two of which was host to Ask SD Tracy Harper, Reasons & Realities, several Novels, Novellas, and a crap load of short stories. The drives are nearly finished being checked to see if the data can be recovered.

This is being taken as a wakeup call to publish at an accelerated schedule along several genre avenues at a much lower cost regardless of income normally generated. Author SD Tracy Harper’s has always been dedicated to his current and new readers of his work. However, due to this mishap, all of the questions and suggestions sent in were lost during the drive failures.
If you have sent in a question (or questions) that hadn’t been answered or wanted to know more about a given subject or insight, second opinion, or just want to know something interesting, please resend in your thoughts and questions or something new. Your thoughts and idea can be sent by use of this blog’s  Contact tab or through a currently published Ask SD, Reasons & Realities article, or by E-Mail. It can never be said strong enough that your contact or other personal information will NEVER be shared or sold to a third party. If you wish to receive updates when new content is released, join SD Tracy Harper through this blog, or Author’s pages on Pintrest, Google Plus, Facebook, and by E-Mail. It’s time to become a willing participant in madness once again.

Removals and Updates of the Sneak Peeks

Now that the Vote 4 Your Choice is completely over and all challenges of the votes have come to a reasonable consensus, it’s time to clean things up and move forward. Changes to the SD Tracy Harper Blog dedicated to this extraordinary effort are coming along slowly, but the winners (and honorable mention) are unchanged as they were reported.

Third Place Winner
Fail To Remember
Fail to Remember is the first book in the Detective Stutter Series. This book is about a man named John Stutter, one of New York City's top detectives who one day becomes of great interest to a ridiculously wealthy New York City socialite. Now the wealthy, the powerful, the famous, the infamous, and a few complete nut-jobs have their sights on having Detective Stutter as well. However, John Stutter has a thing for his captain, each woman who falls in love with him is murdered, and he is the last person to see them alive. Oh, and let's not forget, the murders of these women always occur after he experiences a blackout. Sometimes, being an amnesiac can be a lot of fun.

Second Place Winner
Almost Married
Almost Married is the first book in the Love Contract Series. This story circles around a world famous rock star whose wealthy girlfriend wish to possess him, her grandfather who wish to kill him, and a lonely librarian who holds the key that will save his butt.  For this rock star, being on top of the music business is scary enough, but to lose it all unless he marries the one person he hates most because of a misunderstanding is even worse. Thank god the contract ends in six months.  Oh, but how did all this start. Take a distraught librarian deep in debt, and angry rock star who is pushed to the edge, and an overprotective extremely wealthy madman with unending resources who will do absolutely anything to stop his granddaughter from living her own life, and you have all the makings of a happy mistake. Bad Luck!

The Winner of the Vote 4 Your Choice
The Emperor’s Heir

The Emperor’s Heir is the first book in the Emperor Series under the World of the Twin Hearts. This epic tale begins with a willful princess tomboy, a strong willed girl who grew up in a brothel, and a redheaded boy whose anger is just as strong as his devotion to his best friend (who might just be the son of the emperor everyone is waiting to come out of hiding). Yes there are knights, wizards, villains, fools, and those who are slightly fencepost stupid. Oh, alright, actually fencepost stupid, and go kiss a goat and call her cousin on the sevenths sunrise behind the nave if they are not. The head shaking of this epic adventure begins here and with a young boy named Will.
Will journey begins one sunrise when he finds himself with a man he only knows as his uncle. His first memories are of snow and no more. Join in this Epic Adventure as Will’s very existence is the center of everything, everyone, and every last bit of excitement, danger, and humor any goat brained fool would ever wish in the start of something… interesting. Other lives also have their origins and soon a tapestry full of bright colors and textures will weave itself around a simple boy on a quest to no longer be friendless or of little use. Come step through a Door of Travel into the fantastic world of the
Five Kingdoms and rejoice that you’re not Will.

Honorable Mention
The Skiver Genius
The Skiver Genius is the first book in a Sci-Fi Adventure under the Airlock Series. The main story surrounds a boy name Nathan Alison Shine, the son of two Planetary Terra-Forming Engineers. Nathan was born with the intelligence greater than the sum of all human life. It was foretold that humanity would only get three chances to save itself and humans did what humans do; they killed the first two while they were young children out of fear and greed. Nathan Alison Shine is now humanities only hope and there isn’t much left to say except… Welcome to the party, Roll in the Color Liquor, and don’t forget the CLONES!

Coming up on the return of Reasons & Realities

OH, NO YOU DIDN’T!  This article is about the imaginary line in the sand of good taste and worrying if you had crossed it. Everyone wants to push passed the old and into new territory, but how far is too far. This article looks at that subject in a humorous style as you have come to expect from previous Reasons & Realities. And, like all previous Reasons & Realities, a picture tells a story all of its own.  Mark Mid-October down on your calendar or receive a notice automatically once you join the site. Remember, comments are welcomed and very appreciated and your contact information is NEVER given or sold to a third party.

Coming up on the return of Ask SD

Would you believe someone had asked me the most outrageous question of them all? No, it isn’t what you are currently writing, re-writing, or re-re-writing before you scraped the whole idea and start over. Of course not! A question like that would be as easy as taking a nap (I like napes). The first question on the return of Ask SD is; Drumroll please. SD, what are your thoughts on attributes a writer should have? Oh, this is going to be fun. SD
