2014 – The VOTE 4 YOUR CHOICE is over!
For
those who aren’t familiar with the VOTE 4 YOUR CHOICE reader poll. The VOTE 4
YOUR CHOICE contest was a revolutionary new concept, allowing readers to have a
choice on what they would wish to read as the next book to be published by S.D.
Tracy Harper, but it was also an opportunity to have a crap load of fun. There
were many obstacles to overcome like the Readers’ Poll crashing, changing to a
stable poll counter, resetting the poll each week to insure votes were never
lost again, having to do a hand count of e-mails and Twitter DMs, and lastly
calls from family and friends (It’s always controversial when family is
involved.), but in the end, and after all the dust was settled, and tears wiped
away, there was finally one clear winner. As you now know, The Emperor’s Heir
won the contest and the first look at the proposed artwork for the cover of the
winning book is now displayed (practically everywhere-shameless plug-look
below). Please don’t hesitate to leave a comment on what you think about this
look. Now on to the sad announcement.
With
the ending of the VOTE 4 YOUR CHOICE readers’ poll, the Sneak Peeks for the
other books are being removed for the time being. They may return (prior to the
book being published) in whole, in part, or with additional information. So, if
you wish to take your last look at the other choices, now would be the time.
With Almost Married and Fail to Remember coming in 2nd and 3rd
they shall return, so look forward to seeing them again and possibly some proposed
artwork for their covers. And, for those who shouted the loudest, The Skiver
Genius gets an honorable mention. Please note that the removal of all
information and sample chapters will take effect the weekend of the 21st
and 22nd.
