2014 – Major Changes Are Coming and It’s Time!

For New News
Breaking News is having a makeover and will now be called News Headline. This change is brought about through suggestions by many and it is more appropriate. But, don’t worry about never seeing Breaking News. When something that just can’t wait to be announced through News Headline, Breaking News will reappear when it is most needed and appropriate. In either way, subscribe to the Blog, Follow on Facebook, Twitter, and Pentrest to stay up on the latest happenings.

It’s Time To Consolidate
Combining Wednesday’s Tea and Friday’s Caffeine is necessary due to the amount of time and effort it took to do twice a week. This time spent also took away the main purpose of the Blog and that was to connect readers to the works of Author S.D. Tracy Harper and he to them. The time over and above to properly accomplish the Wednesday and Friday installment was plentiful. Actually to do all aspects of the site in a manner deserving of those who support Author S.D. Tracy Harper, well there just isn’t enough time in the day to fully focused on each aspect of the Blog, being a writer, and also provide the proper amount of attention to personal matters (Family and friends and promises). Now having experiencing this first hand, a change was needed and the replacement will be called Reasons & Realities. This new endeavor will make its debut appearance this Friday June 20, 2014.
It’s Time
To Refocus
The Ask SD Tracy Harper Q&A is another time consuming post that needed to change. Unlike the consolidation of the Wednesday’s Tea and Friday’ Caffeine, Ask SD Tracy Harper will now only be offered solely on Wednesdays. Once again time spent is the cause for this much needed change. One of the benefits of this change (hopefully) is to allow more thought to go into each question asked by you the reader. It must also point out that Ask SD Tracy Harper was meant to be a simple Q&A with minimum interaction and reaction. However, what has happened is more than expected (good thing). This idea has definitely turned out to be one of those examples of being careful for what you wish for and learn to appreciate an unbelievable surprise by the amount of responses received. What this means is the most controversial or attention getting Q&A will have a second life as an full article for the new Reasons & Realities post.

With the end of the VOTE 4 YOUR CHOICE campaign over, the corresponding and Sneak Peeks tabs are no longer needed, but the sample chapters of the winner, The Emperor’s Heir, and future titles’ sample chapters will need a new home. Another consolidation will take place here as well. The Tabs associated with the VOTE 4 YOUR CHOICE and the Book tabs are going to be combined. What is going to take their place will be called Readers World. Readers World will be a streamline jump-off point to information about currently published and upcoming titles being released. What must be pointed out is that after a book is published, additional information may or may not be forthcoming, but anything tied to a book or series of books will appear as it happens. Also included on each will be information on all scheduled promotions, tours, items, and giveaways.

As with anything worth doing there has to be something to separate old from new. This will be accomplish by giving Readers World, Reasons & Realities, and News Headline their own signature look. And, don’t forget to hit the like button to show your support (an ego has needs also you know).
